ABOUT ILEX

Hey, I'm Holly, the face behind Ilex Wellbeing.

My own health journey started when I was 16 and I noticed the pattern between my wellbeing and the food I was eating. 

By making more health-fuelled, conscious choices I noticed differences in my energy levels, mindset and overall wellbeing. 

Back then, diet and lifestyle information was fairly basic with the advice that ‘healthy’ meant eating salad all day, everyday. Now, we know that wellness is not a ‘one-size fits all’ approach AND doesn’t have to be boring! 

In 2021, I completed my Level 4 Nutrition & Lifestyle Coaching Diploma, allowing me to focus on a personalised approach to wellness. We are all different and have unique needs which means not all advice is meant for all of us.

As I have additional training in Health and Wellness Coaching, I am best supported to help you make long-term health changes that are successful and most importantly, suited to you and driven by you. 

It is my mission to help you make wellness simple, accessible and enjoyable. 

Personalised Nutrition & Lifestyle Coaching

Nutrition and lifestyle are the main determinants of our present and future health. Your body is your forever home, it’s never too late to start taking care of it by discovering the best methods for you that optimise wellbeing, longevity and quality of life. 

Our work together will focus on taking you from ‘acceptable’ to ‘optimal’ wellness so are able to live to your full potential with energy, vitality and positivity. This will include a Nutrition plan, Lifestyle plan and Supplement plan (if appropriate). 

Although we work nutrition, movement, stress and sleep, these do not work in isolation. Each area contributes to our overall wellbeing and can impact our overall wellbeing negatively if not optimised to our personal needs. However, when these work in synergy and complement one another we can create our picture of ‘optimal’ wellbeing and live to our highest potential.  

NUTRITION

The cornerstone of our work together will focus on your diet.
This will involve looking into what and how you are eating, how efficiently your body is using nutrients, variety, cooking methods and food prep.

MOVEMENT

Regular movement benefits our energy, sleep, stress and mental wellbeing.
We will explore what movement means to you and how we can make this an easy and enjoyable part of your routine.

STRESS

Keeping up with the demands of modern life puts a strain on our body and is impacting our wellbeing more than ever before. We are presented with physical, emotional and environmental stress on a daily basis, so knowing how to manage this is vital for our overall wellbeing.

SLEEP

Although many different factors impact our sleep, it is still one of the fundamental areas that determines both our present and long-term wellbeing. We can work together to improve your sleep so your entire body benefits from energy, mood, immune function and food choices.

I could talk about wellness all day, every day, so discussing your ‘why’ is the best part of my job. 

Everyone is unique with different motivations for change. Whether this means improving your energy so you can work on your ambitions without burnout or improving your sleep so you are able to wake up refreshed every morning. By discovering your motivations for change together, we have an opportunity to use these to drive diet and lifestyle changes.  

I will meet you where you are at so we can implement positive changes that that best support your motivations and goals.
